Below you can browse through some orchestral music cues i have written. Enjoy!
Orchestral Cues
1. Redemption Of Heroes – In Development
A current work in progress, if this song seems a little off kilter to you it is because it is indeed a little off. It is in 7/4 time. Why? Who knows. I am still working on the orchestral arrangement and need to fill in melodic gaps here and there, but I have enjoyed the challenge of a new time structure upon which to stretch a song over. Of course, it is epic and heroic, as the name implies.
2. And It All Ends
Epic, soaring, building, and delicate all at the same time. This song was written in 3 pieces to match different scenes from Harry Potter. In the end I combined all three cues into one powerful piece that truly gives you the sense that something is coming to an end. Those violins tell you something is up.
3. Fife
A quick little jaunt through the forest. Flutes and oboes give it that Peter and the Wolf feel. Think elves and little goat boys and lumbering warthogs and sunshine.
4. Machu Picchu
A journey through the Peruvian Andes to the mystical city of Macchu Picchu. I wanted to take the listener on a journey similar to a friend of mine’s. No tour busses or glossy pamphlets here. Mountaintop flautists, dark canyons, friendly villagers, and the moment of epiphany.
5. Arck’s Battle
An epic musical journey that traces the events of a massive battle of times long ago. Gentle, soaring, and heroic, all of this track was created with Reason, stretching its orchestral capabilities to the limit.
6. Loveliness
A minute and a bit’s worth of just what the title says. Simple flutes, harps, and strings evoke images of flower petals and fuzzy bunnies. A brief moment of respite in an all to cluttered world.
